Medizym® Enzyme Supplement - a Review

By Kay Frenzer

Recently, I started taking the enzyme supplement Medizym. A product of Naturally Vitamins, a client of ours, I grew more and more interested as I read their literature about enzyme function in the body and in particular, Medizym.

At the time I was experiencing a lot of joint pain and aching, and was feeling pretty miserable. The prescription drug Celexa was not helping, and I was concerned about the possible side effects. There are all kinds of arthritis remedies on the market, but I wasn't sure what would work and what would be a waste of money.

I was given a free sample, so I started taking Medizym as directed – 3 tablets in the morning and 3 in the evening. Within a day my joint pain had almost completely disappeared, and as a result I had more energy. I've been taking Medizym consistently since then, and am feeling much better these days.

Enzymes are part of nearly every metabolic process in our bodies:

• breathing
• digestion
• energy production
• immune system function
• blood clotting
• tissue and wound repair

Nevertheless, as we get older, our body's enzyme levels become used up and for the most part our diets don't provide enough enzymes. As we age we often develop arthritis or joint pain that affects our lives in varying degrees.

Medizym is a traditional combination of enzymes: bromelain, papain, pancreatin, trypsin, chymotrypsin and the bioflavonaid rutin. A natural, drug-free formula used for immune and inflammation support, Medizym supplements the depleted store of enzymes in your body.

Studies show that the particular systemic enzymes contained in Medizym work preventively to help your body sustain a healthy immune system and normalize inflammation levels, as well as support your body's natural tissue repair processes.

Naturally Vitamins recently introduced Medizym Cream, which I'm looking forward to trying on my fingers, as that's where I get flare ups of joint swelling and pain from arthritis.

Medizym also comes in an all-vegetarian formula, called Medizym V. You can go to the site and locate natural food stores in your area that carry these products.

Disclosure: Although Naturally Vitamins is a client of the company I work for, Terralever, this review is my independent opinion and is written because I am impressed with how well Medizym has worked for me. Any errors are my own.
